Bad service. Don't go if u r an indian.

I would rate this restaurant below zero. The Nepali guy there is so rude and racist with Indian customers which cannot be described. Trust me I have travelled all over the world and been to so many Indian cousin restaurants. And yet they are using Indian name to represent their joint. If you have such problems with Indians then first change name of your place. Don’t forget that your restaurant is running because of Indian name. If the owner is reading it I would like to talk to him about it. If I ever return to Kobe in my life I will definitely visit this place and give that Nepali guy a strong punch on his face.

Namaste Tajmahal is a chain Indo-Nepali restaurant and bar which serves North Indian and Nepali foods customized to suit Japanese taste buds. The location is on the 2nd floor of Oriental Avenue and close to Shin Kobe Station. The taste is good and price is reasonable. There are also all-you-can eat and drink menus. Parking service is available for the  Oriental Avenue parking space in 5th to 8th floor but subject to customer's payment more than 2,000 JPY. They have branches in Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo, Shiva, Fukui prefecture.

Very bad experience. The guy name Mani was very rude. We feel that they don’t like Indians.They happy with other customers but not with Indians. If restaurant guys don’t respect the Indian than they should change the restaurant name or they can mention outside the restaurant that “Indians aren’t allowed “.

Both naan and rice curry are delicious. It's a simple naan, but it's just fine with the butter and the grilled condition. Cheesenan is a little hard to eat alone because the amount of cheese is so great. Curry comes in butter chicken, mutton, chicken, daily specials, kemah, of course. All can be a hard choice, so I think there is no problem even with small children because there is a big sweet. Lassi, chai and other standard drinks are also delicious. Lunch is around Y850, and dinner is Y1500- for set meals. There is a counter and it is easy for anyone to enter.

The shop taste and dishes is good...They give very bad respect to indians...If you are japanese they will treat u nicely but with indians I felt bad with the chef and staffs

We heard at lunch, but we were able to order immediately without waiting as we were informed immediatelyThere are several lunch sets depending on how many types of curry are used for lunch, and it is also suitable for people who want to have a volume, such as a lunch with chicken tekka, etc.As it was full-scale curry, it was hot with 2 (standard hotness), but it was still hot about ordinary curryIf it is a painful thing, 3 may be all right. Nan is so fluffy and so full of satisfaction with one pieceI got a lassy with a drink, but with a moderate sweetness it was a refreshing feeling that would reshape the curry.I would like to go there againI think there will be no problem with the number of seats in the table and there will be no problem even when entering a store with a family

A very average Indian food option in a town with a LOT of Indian food options. However, if you are at the Shin-Kobe Station area and you must have Indian food right now; this is your most convenient option.

Service is utterly bad. Ordered lunch menu set which has salad however forgot and realised whilst I was about to finish my lunch. Ask for water you get an hour later. I saw few people waiting for attention of the wait staff for order however disregarded, made them leave. Complete mess and taste is below average. If you want to taste sweet in anything you get here and no matter what you order has sugar in it. You order tandoori chicken tikka, it tastes like sweet. No idea what they are doing and say Indian restaurant. These guys are spoiling the taste of India and not an Indian restaurant. BE CAREFUL......!

A curry shop where your quiet and gentle sister responds.The taste is authentic (although I have never genuine food).Price is reasonable.Nan, it's big and delicious.

It is an Indian restaurant, and although Japanese staff are not there at present, Japanese is understood.A handsome waiter and chef are silent.The daily lunch is 850 yen, and one kind of curry is served with naan or rice, salad, cottery vegetable soup, and drink.Nan is fresh and delicious, but many normal people leave it.Curry had no spiciness or eccentricity, and was a taste that everyone received.The daily special was sweet potato and spinach curry, but it was very easy to eat.The salad dressing has a unique scent.The soup was so small that it was so assertive that it was easy to put on.The shop is only closed on the Avenue of Shin-Kobe, but this shop always has people.The counter seats have a panoramic view of people entering and leaving Oriental Avenue.The last Chai I ordered was light.You can relax while drinking chai while watching the traffic.

Indian curry shop in such a place! I was there when I thoughtThe inside of the store has a calm atmosphere with dark lighting. The window counter seats for single customers are open and nice in the building. Lunch menu is full of stomach with Nan and rice set. Lassie was too sweet and refreshing.

It is a shop in Indian cuisine of Shin Kobe Oriental Avenue. It is seasoned for Japanese people, it is not too painful. It is also helpful to be through sales.

Very nice nan and chicken curry. The seafood curry and pumpkin vegetable curry are also very nice. Prices are reasonable for Indian restaurants, especially lunch.

It was really good. The garlic naan was super.
